- Applicants should have postgraduate (PG) level education or equivalent experience at the time of application.
- Applicants should have more than 5 years of work experience or be a PhD student (not studying in the UK, EU, or USA).
- Applicants should not hold dual nationality.
- Applicants must not be current or former employees or relatives of the UK Government.
- Applicants must not have any connections with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, British Embassies or High Commissions, the Home Office, the Ministry of Defense, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, the Department for International Trade, UKVI, the British Council, a sponsoring UK university, or the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
