Eligibility Criteria for UP Commonwealth Scholarship 2024-25:

  • Must be citizens of Commonwealth countries, excluding South Africa.
  • Intend to commence their studies at the University of Pretoria in 2025.
  • Must submit an application to study at UP for the 2025 academic year.
  • Need to have selected a potential supervisor for their research.
  • Required to submit their academic records to the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) for evaluation.
  • Must have completed their postgraduate or Master’s degree within the last two years to be eligible for admission to UP in 2025.
  • Should not be older than 40 years at the time of application.
  • PhD and Master’s students who are currently registered or have previously studied at the University of Pretoria are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
