Eligibility Criteria for the Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship 2025:
- Bachelor’s Degree required for Master’s applications; Master’s Degree required for PhD applications
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Applicants can be of any age
- Positive reports from academic referees and supervisors are required
- Must not have failed twice in previous applications for the same program, regardless of changes in host institution or research topic
- Must pass an eligibility quiz on the online application system before accessing the application form

- Students waiting for results can apply but must obtain provisional certificates from their home institutions
- Must have a first-class or upper-second-class degree
