Are you an international citizen who lives in the States? Perhaps, yours might not be in the US but you’re an international student living in Canada also. If any of these two describes you, then this is solely for you.

 This is a scholarship offer for woman undergoing any of the STEM degrees. The aim is boost the relevance of women in the society of today. In exception of these requirements, then this isn’t your league.

 It’s a scholarship worth $5,000 and more. And, three individuals are mandated to win it by the end of the exercise. Ultimately, MPOWER supports in the United States or Canada. Awards: Grand Prize: $3,000 Honorable Mentions (2): $1,000 and $500 Eligibility Requirements. However, the following are the criteria for eligibility.

 

US-Based Applicants

  • Be recognized by one of the universities in either the US or Canada. You might be asked to present a proof of it/them during registration.
  • Be an international student with valid proofs. The school should be able to attest to this. You should possess valid documents that will prove your nationality and identity.
  • Enthusiasts must have valid visas that entails a clarification that the custodian can study abroad.
  • An aspiring beneficiary must have a proof that he/she Is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
  • The fellow must have been identified in her department (a request for letter of recognition might be asked).

 

Canada-Based Applicants

  • Applicants must have a Canada Permanent Resident. The proof(s) for this might be required when applying.
  • The applicant must have a valid Canadian study permit. The documents might be needed very soon.
  • The school hosting the international student must have gotten an admission. Your department’s HOD might need to approve it.
  • This is for aspirants who have begun their studies already in any of the prestigious universities in Canada.
  • The fellow must be studying any of the STEM degrees. The STEM are: Science and Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

You must be studying one of the following:

Biology/Life Sciences, Computer & Information Systems, Engineering, Health Professions, Mathematics, Psychology, Aviation, Nursing, Dental/Orthodontics, Chemistry, Applied Science, Game Design & Development, Computer Animation, Criminal & Forensic Science, Geology, Medicine, Nutrition, Physics and Science.
